What paperwork do I need to get married and when will we need to fill it out?
You need to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). By law, this must be lodged with me no less than one month prior to your wedding date. I need to sight the original ID documents at this time.
Then just prior to the wedding, the No Impediment to Marriage declaration- which states you are free to marry, must be signed.
What ID is required? - Original Documents
A birth certificate or passport( must show date and place of birth)
Driver’s license, or passport ( Photo ID)
If divorced- ( Divorce Decree NISI)
If widowed - a Death Certificate or official annulment
Who else is required on the day?
You need two witnesses, over the age of 18 years.
How long does a ceremony take?
Depending on the ceremony you choose, generally no more than 30 minutes.
Do you charge for travel?
My fees are based on ceremonies held in Sydney and The Blue Mountains, but very happy to travel further afield for an additional small fee.
Do you come with your own PA system?

Can we write our own vows? / Do we have to write our own vows?
There are legal vows which are required to be said, apart from these I am very happy for you to write your own vows, I can offer assistance or I can write them for you, it’s your wedding, your way, we will create the ceremony of your dreams.
Do you marry LGBTQI+ couples?
Absolutely, love is love and I am honoured to be a part of this day for all couples.
What is the process of planning a wedding with you?

Next we can meet up in person, or via zoom to complete the initial paperwork and get the one month notice under way.
I will send you through my information kit which is designed to guide you through the process of planning your big day, including some questions to enable me to capture your story with examples and inspiration to get you started.
Several more meetings and plenty of back and forth to make sure your ceremony is perfect.

The day before you may have a rehearsal, then on show day, I will have everything you need to make it official.
After the ceremony, I will submit all legal documents and order your Official Marriage Certificate from Births Deaths Marriages.
